01 Who We Are
Steak Timer ("the App") is developed and maintained by Akshat Pandey, an independent developer. This Privacy Policy applies to the Steak Timer mobile application available on Google Play.

02 What We Collect
We collect the minimum data necessary to run the app and serve ads. Here is a full breakdown:

🔒 Your cook history and personal preferences are stored only on your device. We never upload them to any server.
03 Third-Party Services
The app uses the following third-party SDKs. Each has its own privacy policy:

04 Advertising
Free-tier users see a banner advertisement at the bottom of the main screen, served by Google AdMob. AdMob may use your device's Advertising ID to show personalised ads based on your interests.
You can opt out of personalised advertising at any time:
- Android: Settings → Google → Ads → "Opt out of Ads Personalisation"
05 Children's Privacy
Steak Timer is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, please contact us at ashbuildsinpublic@gmail.com and we will delete it promptly.

07 Data Retention
Steak Timer does not operate any backend servers. Your cook history and saved preferences remain stored locally on your device until you clear app data or uninstall the app. Google AdMob and Google Play Services may collect and retain advertising or diagnostic data according to Google's privacy policy.
08 Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. For significant changes, we will display a notice within the app.
